2026 Plat Contest (08/19/2026)

KAPS is excited to offer our 3rd Annual Plat Contest to be held during the 2026 KAPS Annual Conference!

There will be no formal judging process. Conference attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite plat by scanning a QR code and voting electronically. Voters will be encouraged to consider content, data relevance, accuracy of scale, layout innovation, interpretability, applicability, and neatness in presentation.

First, second, and third place winners will be announced during lunch on Friday. You do not have to be present to win. KAPS will pay the submission fee for the first, second, and third place winners to enter the NSPS National Map/Plat Design Competition if the entry was surveyed in KY and meets the NSPS contest criteria.

Plats must have been created after June 30, 2025.

Entries will only be accepted electronically in PDF format .

All entries must be submitted at least 30 days before the conference. Submission deadline: August 19, 2026.

Maximum map size is 36”x48”.

No more than two entries per licensee will be considered.

The entry fee for the 2026 Plat Competition is FREE.

2026 KAPS Annual Conference Exhibitor Registration (09/16/2026)

Dear Exhibitor:

I would like to extend an invitation for you to join KAPS at our annual conference to be held IN PERSON on Wednesday, September 16 through Friday, September 18, 2026. Setup will begin on Wednesday with seminars being held on Thursday and Friday. The 2026 KAPS Conference will be at the Center for Rural Development, 2292 S Highway 27, Somerset, KY 42501. We look forward to showcasing your products and services!

Each 10’ x 10’ booth rental includes a 8’ table, 2 chairs, wireless internet, electricity, lunch tickets for two people per booth (TH&F), and two Banquet Dinner tickets per booth for Thursday night. To expose your business to conference attendees as much as possible, the Conference Committee has arranged for the exhibitor booths to surround the perimeter of the Banquet Room.

To bring further visibility to your company, the committee has planned to introduce each exhibitor during lunch in the Banquet Room on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Each vendor will be given the opportunity to introduce their company and share door prizes with those in attendance. The attendees always look forward to meeting the vendors and having a chance to win a prize!

We would also like to provide exhibitors the opportunity to further promote their brand by sponsoring various aspects of our conference. These sponsorship opportunities range from $100 to $2,500, making them accessible to all. These opportunities will be available exclusively to exhibitors until June 1 at which time we will open the opportunities to other companies.
